Tovia (Taube) Altman
The wartime heroine, born in 1919, grew up in Wloclawek, became a courier and smuggler for Jewish organizations during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Szymon Goldberg
Goldberg became a renowned violinist, concertmaster, and educator. After naturalizing as a U.S. citizen, he taught at Yale and Juilliard and was celebrated for his interpretation of Mozart.
